Chinese Silk Embroidered Dragon Panel.

Worked in silk embroidery, depicting a front-facing dragon amid stylized clouds above waves and mountain forms, the composition rendered in vibrant polychrome threads against an orange ground, framed within a textile border. The dragon shown with sinuous body and animated features, the design reflecting imperial symbolism associated with power and auspicious authority. The lower register of crashing waves and rising peaks further reinforces the cosmological imagery of the universe under imperial order.
