Chinese Large Copper-Red Vase. Of baluster shape, rising to a rounded shoulder with a waisted neck and flared mouth rim, covered overall with a deep crimson red glaze that deepens to a burgundy tone; the base with a pale celadon glaze incised with an inscription, the rim bound in metal. {Height 13 3/4 inches (35 cm)}. Condition: Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
