Chinese Jade Inlaid Wall Panel. Lacquered wall panel of vertical octagonal form, decorated with inset jade and hardstone elements arranged across two main fields. The upper panel is centered with a circular jade bi disc mounted above a carved and gilt support, flanked by additional carved stone ornaments. The lower panel depicts a tabletop arrangement of vessels and flowering branches, rendered in relief using jade and various hardstones, including pale green and celadon-toned stones. The surrounding borders are painted with stylized cloud scrolls, bats, and auspicious motifs in red, green, and gold tones. The panel is fitted with a metal hanging mount at the top. {Approximate dimensions: height 52 1/2 inches x width 31 inches}.
