Caucasian Eagle Kazak Chelaberd Rug, woven in wool, the red field woven with two vibrant guls of white, green-blue, deep blue, and yellow, with guard bands bracketting the primary border. Circa 1900.

Condition

Request Condition Report

Minor wear overall. Losses to edge including cuts with weave losses of about 1 1/2" and 2 1/4" in length on one side, losses to fringe, a few small ones to pile. Some loose threads, light fading. Uneven edges as made. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
