Bronze Figure of a Hindu Naga Queen. The figure represents a seated Naga queen, modeled with a human upper body, winged shoulders, and a serpentine lower form detailed with overlapping scales. Multiple cobra heads rise protectively behind her, framing the elaborate crown adorned with floral and beaded motifs. Her hands are held together in front, cradling a lotus bud. Traces of polychrome and gilding highlight the facial features, jewelry, wings, and serpentine body. {Approximate dimensions: 8 1/2" high}.
