Art Moderne Assembled Cocktail Set.  Comprising elongated pitcher with rounded, stepped cover and round, stepped pedestal base, narrow beaded decorative bands, and brown bakelite handle and spout cap with small, decorative cut triple bands; a conical shaker with round multi-stepped cover, the cover with bakelite layer below chrome crown, crown incised to the top with a sunburst design; four cocktail cups with subtly tapering, elongated vertical cup, stem embellished with two decorative discs, and round base; 14 lowball glasses with wide brim, shallow bowl and round, tapered foot; and a silvered and gilt rectangular tray with stepped frame and handles, the face with abstract geometric design featuring gilt triangles on silvered ground.      

Pitcher stamped to the underside with KROME - KRAFT, maker marks of cursive f and arm with gavel, and HC, each with domed surround, these three marks interspersed with a small N and Y between and slightly above them, and "FARBER BROS / NEW YORK" partially rubbed off. Shaker stamped to the underside with "MADE IN / gh / CANADA" with circular surround, and the lowballs stamped to the underside with the Chase centaur archer logo and "CHASE / U.S.A.".

Some signs of wear and use, including surface scratches, minuscule nicks to edges, pitting, residue, pitcher and shaker interiors with some corrosion, discoloration, light residual odor. Tray with nicks to edges, rubbing, pitting to face on primarily gilt parts of design. Please ask the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
