Antique French Silk Damask Cope, the purple brocatelle with extensive embroidered sections, with extensive foliate and floral motifs, putti embracing blooming trees emergent from jardinieres, above swagged garlands, the whole including motifs in gold and silver metallic threads, and applied ribbons embroidered in gilt thread with floral and foliate designs, lined in fustian. Late 17th Century - early 18th Century.
