Artist's Bio: Abbie Zabar (American) is an artist and the author of five books, beginning with The Potted Herb (1988), now regarded as a gardening classic. Her work has been exhibited at leading institutions including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Louvre, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, the Parrish Art Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, and the Vigeland Museum in Oslo. Her works are also held in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives, the Jewish Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation.
