A Famille-Rose 'Pine, Plum and Longevity' Vase, Bearing a Guangxu Six-Character Mark

The elegant pear-shaped body rising from a short foot to a long waisted neck and gently everted rim, finely enameled with a continuous landscape of ancient pine and blossoming plum branches. The gnarled pine, with its dark green needles and rugged trunk, intertwines harmoniously with flowering plum sprays rendered in delicate shades of pink, motifs traditionally associated with steadfastness, resilience, renewal, and longevity in Chinese art.

The shoulder is encircled by a broad famille-rose floral scroll band incorporating stylized shou (longevity) characters, while the neck and foot are decorated with colorful geometric and ruyi-inspired borders highlighted with gilt. The base bears a six-character underglaze-blue Guangxu mark reading Da Qing Guangxu Nianzhi ("Made during the Guangxu reign of the Great Qing"). Richly decorated in the famille-rose palette, the vase reflects the enduring popularity of auspicious decorative themes inspired by traditional Qing porcelain. 粉彩松梅祝寿纹瓶，青花“大清光绪年制”款

瓶直口，长颈，丰肩鼓腹，下承圈足，造型端庄秀美。通体以粉彩绘苍松、梅花通景纹饰，古松枝干遒劲，松针浓翠，梅枝横斜舒展，粉白花朵点缀其间。松、梅自古为中国传统吉祥题材，寓意坚贞、高洁、长青与长寿，画面布局疏密有致，层次分明，色彩雅丽。

肩部饰粉彩缠枝花卉纹，并间绘“寿”字纹，寓意福寿绵长；口沿及胫部饰如意纹、几何纹等传统边饰，并施金彩描边，与主体纹饰相互呼应，富有装饰效果。底书青花“大清光绪年制”六字楷书款。整器以粉彩绘制吉祥题材，构图完整，色彩丰富，体现了中国传统瓷器装饰艺术对松、梅、寿字等吉祥意象的长期传承。旧金山资深藏家旧藏。
