19th Century Named and Painted Captain's Trunk. Tapered rectangular trunk with slight curvature to lid, the lid painted with three master ship at sea and "DIROGO / Alexander Allen", iron hardware. {Approximate dimensions: 14 3/4" high x 29 1/4" wide x 16 3/4" deep.}.
Condition
Surface wear and patina throughout. Horizontal cracks to lid, repairs to other cracks. Loss to wood on reverse with fill-in.
