Zhuang Shengtao 庄声涛 (b.1944): “Flower”, Hanging Scroll.
Depicting flowering branches rendered in ink and light color on paper, the composition characterized by expressive brushwork and bold tonal contrasts, reflecting the influence of Wu Changshuo (1844–1927), particularly in its epigraphic style and calligraphic handling of line with an emphasis on structural vitality, signed and sealed “Shengtao,” circa 1980s.
