Williams Electronics Ten Cent Sidewalk Engineer Arcade Game, "Be a Sidewalk Engineer" a crane game, gauging how many lentil beans player has scooped up in a given time. Four buttons operate the converted Doepke steam shovel toy. Player is given rated at end of play. Circa 1956.

Surface wear, faded surfaces to case, ypical for exposure to sea air on boardwalk, graffiti. Crane is filled with lentilbeans as the gravel. Only lentil style beans should be used. Beans should be changed every two years because of possible insect problems with old beans.Functionality not determined.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is recognized as the best seaside park in the world. The vibrant, bustling amusement park is renowned for its great rides, remarkable history, spectacular beach setting, and friendly attitude. Dating back to 1907, the Boardwalk is the last of the great seaside amusement parks remaining in the United States and home to two National Historic Landmarks – the 1911 Looff Carousel and 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster. The entire property is also a State Historic Landmark.
