Two Native American Cradle Boards, the first, a woven example, with wrapped rim, hide ties, and glass and shell beads, Hupa or Yurok or Karuk. The other, Paiute, Great Basin area. 

{Approximate dimensions:  hide example 6" high x 16 3/4" long x 6 1/2" wide, Paiute example 4 1/4" high x 15 1/2" long x 8 3/4" wide.}.

Request Condition Report

Wear includes hide example with some leather flaking and cracking, repair, weave with small breaks and losses, bead losses. Paiute example with some breaks, losses, two corner sections of lower rim detached, available. Color variations as made. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
