Two Gouache Paintings on Panels from South African artists, including (i) Kilmany-Jo Liversage (South African, born 1973), "Girl with Pretzel Shape." Signed verso with printed copy of CV. Artist's Bio: Liversage works in a variety of media, including painting and mixed media. She is particularly known for her folded silk ribbons and steel pin installations. The female subjects in her works are inspired by Renaissance-era portraiture and is also influenced with graffiti and urban art. (ii) Khaya Sineyile (South African, born 1983), "Blue Man Portrait." Signed verso with printed copy of CV. Artist's Bio: Sineyile is a fine painter, using delicate brush marks and a sensitive colour palette to communicate his sentiments. Through his art, he pays tribute to motherhood, celebrating the mothers of the African Nation, women such as Miriam Makeba, Lilian Ngoyi, Helen Suzman, and Winnie Mandela, amongst others. Surface dust and dirt. Both verso are waxed sealed. Framed (both): 8" H x 8" W.
