Two English Saltglaze Stoneware Table Articles comprising a tall cylindrical mug or tankard, with centric rings at mouth, under handle, and two waisted foot, with applied grooved strap handle; together with a baluster form salt shaker with foliate pierced, domed lid, and concentric bands to mouth, at waist, and to ankle. Circa 1750 -1760. {Approximate dimensions: 6 1/2" H., the mug; the salt shaker 5" H.}.
Condition
1/4" shallow chip to upper edge. Hairline to the handle professionally restored. Professional restoration to shaker knop and foot, over painted, and now partly visible.
