Two English Eighteenth Century Porcelain Dishes Including Chelsea. Comprising: Chelsea basket woven dish, Chelsea kidney shaped dish, and a Longton Hall strawberry leaf moulded dish. Each hand-painted with scattered flowers in polychrome enamels.
Circa 1755.
{Approximate dimensions: 3" H. x 8 3/4" W. x 8 3/4" D., the Longton Hall dish. The Chelsea basket woven dish 1 3/4" H. x 10 5/8" W. x 8" D. The kidney shaped dish 1 3/4" H. X 11" W. X 8" D.}.
Condition
Restoration to one scallop of leaf and to area near short firing crack under handle of Longton Hall dish. Firing cracks to both Chelsea dishes. Various scattered black dots, minor losses to enamels, surface wear and scratches.
