Two English Creamware Black Transfer Printed Table Articles including a large cider jug transfer printed with the Death of General Wolfe, with ships at sea, verso; and a mug, printed with The Tythe Pig. Circa 1760 - 1775. {Approximate dimensions: 8 3/4" H., the jug; the mug 5 1/4" H.}.

Good to moderate condition, long crack to one side of spout of the jug; star and hairline cracks to base of mug. The transfer-prints in both cases are crisp and with little rubbing. Minor crazing, surface wear. Scattered black dots.
