Two Emil Janel Carved Figures. Comprising smiling elderly couple carved in textured, rustic style, the shawled female figure in lighter wood tone with black headscarf and shoes, the male figure in greenish gray vest and shoes and black pants, grasping walking staff. Each figure carved to the underside with "EMIL / JANEL".

{Approximate dimensions:  Female figure 12 1/4" high x 4 5/8" wide x 2 3/4" deep, male figure 11 1/4" high x 5 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" deep.}.

Good condition overall. Some minuscule nicks to edges, light surface scratches, minor losses to paint finish. Female figure with hairline crack and repair to foot, male figure with small chip to edge of shoe sole. Thin, shallow cut marks appear to be as made.
