Two Chinese Yaozhou-type vessels. The first, a jar with an open mouth, the other jar with associated cover. Both painted with dramatic stylized black floral motifs on a white ground. {Approximate dimensions: 5 1/4" to 6 3/4" H. (13.33 to 17.15 cm.).}.
Condition
First vessel broken in two parts, glued back together. Hairline crack to rim. Second vessel cover associated, with chips, and losses to glaze; chip to flange, scratches, surface wear. Some wear and minor losses commensurate with age. Please contact the Asian Art department for additional photographs and condition reports.
