Two Chinese Tang Pottery Figures.
The group consisting of two molded pottery standing figures. One depicted wearing a tall headdress and long robe with hands clasped at the front, the surface retaining traces of red and white pigment. The other shown standing with one arm raised toward the shoulder, wearing a long garment with incised detailing. Surfaces with areas of earthen accretion and remaining polychrome. {Approximate dimensions: tallest height 11 3/4 inches}
Condition
Surface wear, losses to pigment, and scattered chips consistent with age; areas of surface encrustation.
