Two Chinese carved jade swords, each with a sweeping curved blade and a raised display base. The blades are worked with sinuous dragons in relief along the edges and terminals, the mouths open gripping ring-form ornaments. Pierced comb-style openwork runs along the spine of each blade, maintaining consistent color and carving style across both pieces. The jade shows an overall spinach-green to celadon green range with natural variations in tone. {Approximate dimensions - largest width 63 inches}.
