Two Burmese Cooper Alloy Seated Buddhist Figures. Comprising: a crown Buddha seated in bhumisparsha mudra on a tiered throne, with a robe over the shoulders and pendant necklaces covering his chest, his face with a serene, regal expression, and bronze Buddha seated in meditation with his hands in the bhumisparsa mudra, the serene face framed by small curls surmounted by a flame finial, supported on a waisted trapezoid plinth. {Both similar in height not including the base, taller 9 inches (23 cm)}. Condition: Paint exfoliation. Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
