Two 19th Century Inlaid Wood Boxes, Desk and Cosmetic.  Comprising Inlaid walnut lap desk with brass mounts, the interior with gilt tooled leather writing surface, glass inkwell with brass cap; burl walnut traveling cosmetic case with brass mounts, the interior with burgundy leather lined interior, various glass bottles with silver-plated covers.  {Approximate dimensions:  Desk 7 1/2" high x 15 3/4" wide x 10" deep, cosmetic 5 3/4" high x 12 1/4" wide x 9 1/2" deep.}.

Some surface wear throughout.  Patina to brass with some bends.  Bottle with broken loss to mouth, some loose stoppers.  Small loss to inlaid corner of lap desk.
