Two 19th Century Album Amicorums. Comprising album with purple velvet cover and "ALBUM AMICORUM 1838-1878 L.R. BEYNEN (Possibly of Arctic exploration interest)" in silver metal letters: filled with names of Dutch 19th century figures comprising artists, politicians, writers, etc all written with the same hand: names include Hendrik van de Sande Bakhuyzen, F.W.A. Beelaerts van Blokland, Johannes Bosboom, Jan ten Brink, Baron Fagel, Johannes Kneppelhout, Theo van Lynden van Sandenburg, Johan Metzelaar, Oncko Wicher Star Numan, Gerrit Jan Marinus Oudenampsen, Maarten Iman Pauw van Wieldrecht, Jacob Hendrik van Rechteren van Appeltern, Charles Rochussen, Johann Gottlieb Sillem, Pieter Stortenbeker, Mr. Saaymans Vader (Pieter Hendrik), Johannes Gijsbert Vogel; small Album Amicorum with notes and poems in English, French, Italian, etc.: also with drawings and small attached prints, the album circa 1860.
