Syrian Carved and Inlaid Sofa. The back carved with two seats conjoined by a middle section, in pseudo Moorish architectural style. Straight arms, over seat, elaborately carved skirt over six legs. Single dusty purple cushion, with ocher braided gimp.
{Approximate dimensions: 45 1/2" high x 78 5/8" wide x 27" deep.}.
Condition
Crest to one seat back and one of the conjoined lower back sections lacking; losses to mother of pearl, beaded sections, surface wear and scratches. Upholstery with light fading to areas, minor stains.
