Stephen Mark Paulsen Civilization as They Knew It Multimedia Diorama, Number 5 in a series of miniature landscapes, a label to the back with information regarding "View of the Islands with Catacombs and Fusion Chamber," made using various exotic and familiar woods, acrylic, alabaster, aluminum, and gold leaf, including 14K, 18K, 22K and 24K fused with body to form the textured wall backgrounds. All under glass, within shadowbox frame. Part of a special exhibition in Santa Barbara, 1990, this label signed by the artist.
