Good resonance and tonality, surface wear and scratches to the case and to leather of the seat. The top of the piano with various areas more seriously splotched.
Listed on an insurance appraisal as per consignor comment: serial #174196. Consignor also indicated that the action was worked on by a Steinway approved technician ten to fifteen years ago. The action appears to have been replaced, based on its relatively new appearance. The pads and keys have also likely been replaced, due to their newer appearance. The piano is in relatively good tune. Department is available for FaceTime if desired.
