Sidebottom Novelty Company Five Cent Coin Op Claw Crane Arcade Game, player winds the crane around to face treasure, gauge to back moves up and down as player cranks, then player inserts the coin to start the crane moving as a digger goes out and hopefully grabs the desired toy and scoops it up and drops it in the payout container. Crane has to be cranked again to the front position then player pushes the "open" button that releases the toy to player. Circa 1951.

Wear to case, viewing panel scratched, surface wear, stickers and new notes applied to front, coin op removed, abrasions, dirt, typical for exposure to sea air on boardwalk. Functionality not determined.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is recognized as the best seaside park in the world. The vibrant, bustling amusement park is renowned for its great rides, remarkable history, spectacular beach setting, and friendly attitude. Dating back to 1907, the Boardwalk is the last of the great seaside amusement parks remaining in the United States and home to two National Historic Landmarks – the 1911 Looff Carousel and 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster. The entire property is also a State Historic Landmark.
