Shreve & Co. Sterling Silver Centerpiece. Centerpiece flower frog; oval bowl portion with reticulated scrolled foliate motif rim scattered with flowers and urns, gilt wash interior, "G(?)" monogram to edge; gilt metal reticulated cover. The underside with Shreve markings and "10408", the cover lacking markings. {Approximate dimensions: 6 1/4" high x 20" wide x 15 1/2" deep.} {Approximate weight of bowl not including cover: 2,462 grams.}. Condition: Cover with apparent repair to knop, current bend, and minor patina. Scratches to bowl gilt wash interior.
