Cake and Lips have Certificate of Authenticity adhered verso. [Approximate dimensions - plate (each): 10" H x 8" W]. Artist's Bio: Shana Levenson is an accomplished representational painter based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose work focuses primarily on portraiture and the human figure. She earned a BA in Fashion Design from The University of Texas at Austin and later completed an MFA in Fine Art Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Known for her hyperrealistic style, Levenson incorporates delicate feminine details such as lace, jewelry, and the human form, drawing inspiration from her fashion background and personal experiences. Her recent work also explores surrealistic elements, celebrating the strength, beauty, and individuality of women. In addition to her studio practice, Levenson is a dedicated educator who teaches workshops, mentors artists, and conducts classes internationally. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States and internationally, including at galleries such as Rehs Gallery and Sugarlift in New York, Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, and Abend Gallery in Denver. Through her continued artistic exploration and commitment to education, Levenson remains a prominent voice in contemporary realism.
