Set of Gmundner Keramik Stag Motif Plates. Forty four dinner plates with scalloped rims, and a dessert plate of conforming smaller design, painted with green rims and leaping stags to centers. The dinner plates with printed marks in roundels: SPUELMASCHINEENGEEIGNET HANDBEMALT MADE IN AUSTRIA, printed flower pot mark, GMUNDNER KERAMIC EJE. Printed GK pictorial design under crown in diamond and A4L to underside. {Approximate dimensions: 11" Diameter and 9 1/2" Diameter, respectively.}. Provenance: Austin Hills. Condition: The plates appear not to have been used. Overall condition is very good, very minor surface wear and scratches. One dinner plate chipped.
