Scottish Victorian Mahogany Tall Case Clock, the calendar clock face painted on steel with arch over moving sun, above corners, painted with figures holding emblems of rural life, centering the figures in rural surround. Roman and ordinal numbers in black enamel on white. The hood carved with broken arches, and partial gilt foliate terminates, centering a pointed arch in oak, and with turned, carved recessed columns to either side of the glazed doors, case of Gothic style, the triple arched door inset below a carved thistle, between reeded pilasters, over the body. Circa 1850.

Functionality not determined. Long cracks to case back, and some losses to back. Cracking to veneer, above door, upper left, minor scratches and surface wear. Crazing and minor losses to metal face.
