Scottish Sterling Silver Footed Serving Tray, by Alexander Aitchison II, openwork, reticulated scalloped border with foliate design, the well chased with a crest, on three feet. Hallmarked to underside, lion rampant, city mark for Edinburgh, A star A and date letter k. 

Alexander Aitchison II, active in Edinburgh circa 1770s and beyond.
