Pennsylvania German Folk Art Painted Chest , top overcast above frame, with shaped, carved panels to front, painted with stylized flowering plants amidst chip carved panels. Possibly made with a combination of antique and modern parts. 

{Approximate dimensions:  34 3/4" high x 52 3/4" wide x 27 1/2" deep.}.

Wear from age and use, including chips, nicks, hairline cracks, scratches, roughness, rubbing, seam gaps, previous insect damage, top with ring stains. Lockset loose to interior. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
