A pair of Chinese overlay glass tripod incensers with matching covers. Each is formed with a compressed globular body raised on three short feet and surmounted by a domed cover with finial. The vessels are worked in translucent ruby red glass over a darker ground, carved in relief with scrolling vegetal and abstract motifs, with green glass accents visible at the feet. The bases bear incised or engraved marks. {Approximate dimensions: tallest height 7 inches}
