Pair of Louis XV Parcel Giltwood Fauteuils. The wood frames carved with foliate, floral, scrollwork and notched designs and bead molding, and painted in green, red, and gilt, the upholstery woven with floral and foliate bouquets in pink, green, blue and brown on pale green ground.

Condition
In good condition for age. Signs of wear and use include wood frames with nicks, small chips, scratches, rubbing, finish losses, slight gaps to some seams, a few small areas of craquelure with possible repair. Upholstery with losses, loose weave, loose threads, small spot stains possibly from mildew, slight fading. Please contact the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
