Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain 'Bats and Peaches' Vases. Each vase is finely decorated with a continuous scene of blossoming peach branches laden with ripe fruits, accompanied by small bats in flight among the foliage. The composition wraps gracefully around the baluster-form body, above a band of stylized rocks and grasses at the base. The underside bears an apocryphal ‘Yongzheng’ reign mark within a double circle. {Approximate dimensions - height 9 1/4 inches}.
