Pair of Chinese Carved Wood Dragon Lantern Holders.
Each rising from a circular base with scrolling openwork supports to a slender upright shaft carved with foliate and scrolling motifs. The terminals formed as high-relief dragons with arched bodies and detailed scales, the heads projecting outward with open mouths. The bases carved with stylized petal borders and supported on short feet. {Approximate dimensions: height 36 1/2 inches}
