Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Temple Jars with Lids. Each jar is of baluster form with a domed lid surmounted by a knop finial, painted in underglaze blue with figural scenes in landscape settings within vertical panels. Additional decoration includes border patterns around the shoulder and lid rim. The bases bear six-character marks, possibly later. {Approximate dimensions: height 14 inches}.
Condition
Surface wear, firing imperfections, and minor glaze irregularities consistent with age.
