Pair of Chinese paintings on silk depicting a seated emperor and empress in traditional robes and headdress. The scroll paintings mounted to silk brocade panels and with wood dowels to bot ends, and the whole mounted onto linen backing, within clear plastic shadowbox frames with carved giltwood edges. {Approximate dimensions: The paintings 28 x 54 (71 x 137 cms.), 41 x 81 1/2 x 4 1/2 D. Condition
Minor creases, toning to paintings. The frames, and mounts with minor surface wear and scratches. Please contact Asian Art department for additional photographs and more details regarding condition.
