Octagonal Baker Center Empire Style Walnut Table. Comprising octagonal marquetry quadrupedal table over columnar legs with gilt bronze capitals and bases, on concave quadrilateral open center frame base. With two leaves. Oval brass embossed label plaque to underside, "Baker Furniture" in script.
{Approximate dimensions: 29 1/2" high x 48" wide and deep without leaves, leaf 48" wide x 23 9/16" deep.}.
Condition
Minor wear overall. Some light surface scratches and residue and/or subtle cloudy areas to tabletop finish. Edges and corners with minuscule chips, nicks, rubbing. Gilt bronze and underside hardware with patina, white residue. Some distressing as made, tonal variation to leaves compared to tabletop.
