New York Federal Cherry Flat Top Secretary. Key available. Two-door cabinet top section with two shelves to interior, the slant front opens to reveal small drawers and niches, on bracket feet; brass hardware throughout including bat pulls to drawers. Late 18th century. Key available. {Approximate dimensions: 76" high x 40 1/2" wide x 19" deep.}.
Condition
Overall condition is good considering age, with repair and restoration throughout. Some later hardware. Restoration includes interior and drawer stabilization/reconstruction. Previous insect damage. Slant front lid is broken off at the hinges, needs repair.
