New England Late Classical Mahogany Secretary. Scrolled broken pediment crown over glazed two door cabinet housing three shelves with small drawers on niches, slant front with green felt writing surface over stack of three graduated long drawers with extended brass pulls, all supported on short fluted round taper legs with arrow feet. Early 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 86" high x 41" wide x 22" deep.}.
Condition
Overall condition is very good considering age, with some repair and refinishing. Repairs to both sides of carved broken arch crest, and to glazed door framework. Fluted block finials to top corners are separated but available. Pulls later.
