Native American Paiute Beaded Woven Basket, probably from Mono Lake, the exterior sewn with glass beads in turquoise, yellow, green, white, pink, navy blue, black. Circa 1920.

{Approximate dimensions:  2 5/8" high x 5 1/2" diameter.}.

Some loose stitches and beads, including about 3 1/4" L. partially detached string of beads, minor lost beads and bands to weave to rim, base underside beading not adhered to underside of basket. Minor bunching or puckering as made. Please ask the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department for a detailed condition report on this lot.
