Six dessert plates by Nast, including a pair of round plates, a pair of shell shaped dishes and a pair of octagonal dishes, all with gilt bands to rims bracketting gilt line of forget me nots, enclosing bold polychrome painted botanicals. Together with a blue ground Feuillet demitasse cup and saucer, blue ground, and with extensive bouquets. The cup marked in gold script, Feuillet. The plates marked with red stamp Nast a Paris or gilt script Nast. Circa 1825 - 1830. {Approximate dimensions, the shell shaped dishes, 2" H. x 9 1/2 " W. x 9" D.}.
Condition
One of the octagonal dishes broken in half, reglued and overpainted and overgilt. Minor gilding wear, surface wear and scratches. Minimal losses to enamels. The mark to one plate very rubbed.
