Napoleon III Ebonized Traveling Vanity Set. Ebonized case with brass, boulle, and mother of pearl inlay; the interior with mirror to cover interior and ten various jars and bottles with silver covers. Mid 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 5 3/4" high x 11 3/4" wide x 8 1/2" deep.}. Condition: Overall condition is appropriate given the age. Some repair and restoration to inlay and cracks. Tarnish to silver. Glass with some minor wear throughout. Stuck stoppers to bottles. One bottle with break to mouth/neck. Brass with some patina and corrosion. Corrosion to the mirror. Key available.
