Napoleon III Brass Inlaid Bibliotheque. Moulded crown over curtained glazed two-door cabinet with plinth base, all resting on flat bun feet; brass inlay throughout with foliate motif and figural inlay to door panels, crown, and base. Mid 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 91 1/2" high x 57 1/2" wide x 19" deep.}.

Condition: Some restoration and repair to inlay and finish. Apparent later glass. One door is locked, lacking key. Larger areas of brass with small dents. Some lifting to brass inlay, including to crown. Detached strip of inlay available.
