Musical Ephemera Binder of Correspondence to Eugene Ormandy, including from notaries such as: Van Cliburn, Luciano Pavarotti, Princess Grace of Monaco, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Dag Hammerskjold, Pablo Casals, Leopold Stokowski, Yehudi Menuhin, Igor Stravinsky, Hector Villa Lobos, Dinah Shore Montgomery, Danny Kaye, Nelson Rockefeller, Hubert Humphrey, Right Honorable Edward Heath, M.B.E., M.P. Also from Alberto Ginastera, Adlai Stevenson, Bohuslav Martinu, Dr. Bruno Walter, Aaron Copland, Mstislav Rostropovich, and Ned Rorem. Variously hand written or typed, with signatures to each. Plus a Western Union Telegraph from Jean Sibelius. Correspondence dated 1935 - 1982. Letters range from stationery paper to standard office size. All but one in plastic sleeves, in 2" X 10" W. 11 1/2" D.
Condition
Most of the letters are in very good, legible hand writing or typescript, some with additional notes in pencil or pen. Some with minor fading.
