Carved in the form of a dramatic mountain peak with soaring cliffs and rugged crags, the natural grain and richly textured surface evoke the appearance of weathered stone. Sculpted in the tradition of Chinese scholar's objects, the work celebrates the aesthetic ideals of natural landscapes and contemplative studio art.
