A Chinese Ge-Type Crackle-Glazed Blue and White Moon Flask with Dragon Handles, Late Qing Dynasty

A Chinese Ge-type crackle-glazed blue and white moon flask, dating to the Late Qing dynasty. Of flattened circular form rising from a short splayed foot to a cylindrical neck, the vessel is flanked by a pair of molded dragon-form lug handles. The body is covered overall in a pale celadon Ge-type glaze with an attractive network of crackles. Both sides are painted in underglaze blue within large circular medallions, one depicting a tranquil riverside landscape with a seated scholar attended by a servant beneath towering mountains, the other portraying a bird perched among pine branches, a traditional symbol of longevity and resilience. The surrounding ground is further decorated with flowering branches and butterflies, creating an elegant contrast between the soft celadon glaze and vivid cobalt-blue decoration. Combining the antiquarian taste for Ge-type crackled glaze with classical blue-and-white painting, the vase reflects the revivalist aesthetic popular during the Late Qing period. One dragon-form handle is broken with partial loss.

哥釉青花开光山水花鸟双龙耳瓶

清晚期哥釉青花开光山水花鸟双龙耳瓶。器作抱月式，扁圆腹，圈足，直颈，两肩饰对称双龙耳。通体施哥釉，釉面布满细密自然开片，古雅温润。腹部两面分别以青花绘饰圆形开光，一面绘高士山水图，远山层叠，江岸幽静，高士携童子临水观景；另一面绘松树栖鸟图，寓意长寿吉祥。开光之外满饰折枝花卉、蝴蝶纹，布局疏朗雅致，青花发色沉静，与哥釉开片相互映衬，充分体现晚清仿古瓷器崇尚宋瓷韵味的艺术风格。器身一侧龙耳已断，并有部分缺失。
